چکیده

Abstract A survey of linearized cosmological fluid equations with a number of different matter components is made. To begin with, the one-component case is reconsidered to illustrate some important mathematical and physical points rarely discussed in the literature. The work of some previous studies of two-component systems are examined and re-analyzed to point out some deficiencies of solutions, and further solutions and physical interpretation are then presented. This leads into a general two-component model with variable velocity dispersion parameters and mass density fractions of each component. The equations, applicable to both hot dark matter (HDM) and cold dark matter (CDM) universes are solved in the long wavelength limit. This region is of interest, because some modes in this range of wavenumbers are Jeans unstable. The mixture Jeans wavenumber of the two-component system is introduced and interpreted, and the solutions are discussed, particularly in comparison to analogous solutions previously derived for plasma modes. This work is applicable to that region in the early Universe (20 < z < 140), where large scale structure formation is thought to have occurred.

Cosmological Gravitational Wave Background from Phase Transitions in Neutron Stars

It has recently been suggested that collapse of neutron stars induced by a phase transition to quark matter can be a considerable source of gravitational waves with kHz frequencies. We demonstrate that if about one percent of all neutron stars undergo this process, the resulting cosmological gravitational wave background would reach about 10 times the critical density. The background would peak...

Study of a Restricted Modified Gravity on astrophysical and cosmological scales

We investigate the astrophysical implications of the model by using the corresponding gravitational potential. By using the weight function of the weak lensing , for the model,...

Mathematical Properties of Non Static and Non Empty Cosmological Models

In the present paper we have discussed the Mathematical Properties of non static and non empty cosmological models with variable Cosmological constant (Λ) & variable Gravitational constant (G) under some suitable assumptions. It may be concluded that the Cosmological constant (Λ) may be replaced by a non-linear scalar field. It has been also focused that there is close relation between model wi...

Dark Halos and Galaxy Evolution

We study the evolution of disk galaxies within the frame of the cold dark matter (CDM) cosmologies. The hydrodynamics of a centrifugally supported gaseous disk and the growth of a stellar disk is calculated in detail taking into account the energy balance of the ISM and the gravitational instabilities that concern gas and stars. The halo density profile is derived from the primordial cosmologic...

Cosmological tests of general relativity with future tomographic surveys.

Future weak lensing surveys will map the evolution of matter perturbations and gravitational potentials, yielding a new test of general relativity on cosmic scales. They will probe the relations between matter overdensities, local curvature, and the Newtonian potential. These relations can be modified in alternative gravity theories or by the effects of massive neutrinos or exotic dark energy f...
